"Real women wear Classic Pumps....
Recently, I've been surprised to hear that some of you gals
in your 50's say you can't or won't wear high heels any more.
As we mature we need all the help we can get to make
ourselves look pretty, and a pair of Classic Pumps is
the perfect shoe to accent our legs and make a proud statement
when we walk into any room.
Now, I know some of us do have foot problems and our
podiatrists recommend we wear flats and "sensible"
footwear, but a special occasion or a night out on
the town deserves an elegant pair of shoes. Classic Pumps
are made of the finest leather, soft and supple so you
can slip the shoe on and wiggle your toes inside to make
a comfortable fit, yet the leather is strong and sturdy
to support your foot while you walk or stand.
Someone told me that as the heel-height increases you
should opt for a half size bigger, so if you normally
wear a size 6 try a 6 1/2 Classic Pump. Treat your shoes
lovingly too and don't throw the box and toe papers away.
When I'm done wearing my pumps I put them back inside the
box with the toe inserts back inside and the shoes
wrapped in tissue paper just like they were when
I first opened the box.
So come on ladies, don't be afraid to wear high heels
again just because you're now in your 50's!
Put 'em on and strut your stuff. Make your husband
drop you off at the door so you don't have to walk
across the parking lot (that's what I do), and then go
inside and find yourself a seat. Cross your legs
and watch the looks you'll get from the men who
appreciate a great pair of legs and a pretty pair of shoes."

Dana's Tips For Trying on High Heels
I did something different this time when I received my
new shoes. I tried all of the different pair I
received with stockings on and gently fit the shoe onto
my foot by wiggling it around until it felt right.
Then I relaxed my foot inside the shoe and sat in
my chair with my foot on the floor while I did the next
shoe.
I made sure my foot stayed relaxed and I massaged the leather all
around my toes to adjust the leather for a perfect fit. What a
difference. After both shoes were on, I still kept sitting, putting my
weight into the shoe and getting the feel of it. I crossed and
uncrossed my legs too, to see how each shoe looked either on the floor
or across my knee. When the shoes felt good this way, I stood up and
walked around the house. I had my tunes on so I tried a little dancing
in them too. It was Fun.

I had asked my friend Steven for his advice on a very
pretty dress I wanted to buy for a special occasion.
He told me I would look gorgeous in it, so I bought it.
Steven knows what looks good on me, and my new dress
definitely was perfect for my figure. I knew my
bone colored Lola’s would show my legs off so well
as I waltzed through the Hotel Del Coronado in this
swirling silk chiffon number. All eyes were on me as I
sashayed around this grand hotel looking for interesting
places to be photographed. I loved the looks and
stares from the men, and smiled to myself as their
wives looked me up and down and hurried their husbands
along.
I was so tempted to tell these women that if they took a good
look at themselves in the mirror before they ventured out in public,
they’d know why their men aren’t interested in keeping their eyes on
them! My goodness, there are so many women these days who lack any
fashion sense! And have you noticed the shoes they’re wearing now?
Dress up gals! You can’t honestly think you’re going to have men drool
over you if you dress like your grandmother, for heaven’s sake! Leave
the sweat pants and clunky ugly shoes at the gym if you know where to
find one. But maybe these women don’t want and like the attention. I
sure do!
Dana Specht received her first pair of Classic Pumps
from her photographer friend Ed as a gift for her to
wear during her professional
sessions as a disciplinarian. They are the perfect
high heels to accentuate her lovely legs and feet
and compliment her wardrobe. Ed has purchased 3
pair of Classic Pumps for Dana’s size 6.5 feet -
red kid Lulu, black kid Lola, and black kid Ronda.
