Gina writes:
"I don't know how many people have noticed lately,
but women are in two camps about how to wear high-heeled
pumps: stockings, or bare legs. I feel strongly about
both options. If you have great looking legs, go for it.
Bare is wonderful. If not, or if you have probably enjoyed your
best-looking leg years, like me, you should probably get to know some
things about the mysterious world of women's hosiery.
The important thing is that if you are wearing Classic Pumps,
it dosen't matter. You will look great either way,
and most importantly you will feel great.
There are pluses and minuses to both. Bare footed
in pumps can cause some discomfort from perspiration,
but especially during warmer weather this is outweighed
by the added comfort and freedom of bare legs with
no discomfort of panyhose, garter belts, etc.
And finally some tips for wearing four-inch pumps without
hosiery, especially for those who have been brought up
on the heels 'n hose concept. If you decide to go
for it, try it with Classic Pumps that you have
already broken in with hose. For brand new out-of-the-box
Classic Pumps, you can ease into them with just a
touch of moisturizer on your toe tips and a little
dab spread around the floor of the toe box.
In no time the new pumps will be fully "trained",
and you will feel comfortable in them for your first
outing. The cream will not harm the inner sole of the shoe, and is
actually good for your feet. And even more, you will look great in
what has become the "standard" of ladies pump world. Other designs are
mostly novelties, but never the high heel pumps for almost any
occasion, business or play.
My thanks to Walt and Barb for getting it all done
and helping to show a whole new generation what
classy women's shoes should look like."
