Leah has always been a big fan of 60's fashion.

Says Leah: "Everthing else done since then has been second rate - and that, obviously, includes shoes. If you look at the fashion of the 60's via photographs taken by David Baily and other great Vogue photographers, things have been the same since. The same goes for films of the period. Look at the style and grace of say an Audrey Hepburn or Sophia Loren - in fashion terms - pure simplicity and grace.

You know, I've always likened the style of shoes to cars. If you look at a ferrari, nice clean simple elegant lines and bold striking colors. Not a sign of "chunky" to be seen. So it should be for shoes as well. So, trying to find shoes that fit the image of that era has been rather difficult. Sometimes you can get lucky and find second hand ones at swap shops or clothes markets but nobody seems to make *new* ones.
